Just where do you rank a band that went against every traditional Rock platform, whether it was in the mainstream or underground? Where do you place a band that had no real hits, but an incalculable influence? We are not sure ourselves.   The experimental Krautrock band Can drew from a very eclectic group of influences which included Classical, Free Form Jazz, Electronic components and other variations of Noise. They were so unique, even attempting to say which bands were their peers is difficult to pinpoint. Can disbanded in 1978 but they left behind a collection of albums that pushed Experimental Rock to new boundaries and was cited as influential by many Post Punk bands.
